Route and accessibility
There are several routes to our campscape. It’s best to avoid any routes that take you inside the village of Castelo de Vide. Just stay on the N246-1 and take the exit Barretos or Beirã. The nearest supermarket is 5 km from our Campscape, so when you need to do some shopping head for the Pingo Doce in Castelo de Vide (also located on the N246-1). When you come from Spain consider doing your shopping there: it’s cheaper, especially gas and tobacco (mind the time difference, it´s 1 hour later in Spain).
Don’t sweat
Many tourists think the Portuguese drive like crazy, but that’s not true in our region. Here, they drive the way they live: nice and easy. And there aren’t many vehicles on the road anyway.
