Our zoned estate offers all diversity from the Nature Park Serra de Sao Mamede. Cork oaks, Eucalyptus, Olives, a variety of wild flowers and of course the birds, butterflies and bees. All caught together (with our donkeys) in a breathtaking view of the rock valley.

Come and relax in our amazingly beautiful, peaceful and friendly scenery. You are welcome to camp on our rural estate (olive grove) in the beautiful nature park Serra de Sao Mamede in the Alto Alentejo. Enjoy the view on the (nightly lit) castle of Marvao high up on the rocks. Explore Marvao, Castelo de Vide and the amazing landscape with hidden hamlets by foot, bike or car. Find your space to really unwind from hectic daily life.
Small scale -feel at home- camping for happy campers
No campervans bigger than 7 meter!
We offer a limited number of bookable camping spots for tents, caravans and campervans smaller than 7 meter in a kid-free landscape park environment with a refreshing salt water pool. Choose your own spot on arrival and sleep under the amazing starlit sky.
Included are the use of the pool (March 21 – October), toilets and rain showers, facilities for washing up, a toilet dump and free WIFI at your spot and at terrace Amsterdao. Here you can meet your fellow travelers and enjoy our Brasilian-Dutch hospitality. Treat yourself to an Alentejo wine, a cold lager or a locally brewed beer, while enjoying the fairytale scenery.
We speak English, Portugese, Dutch and German. Depending on your approach, we’ll try in Spanish and French.

What to do and how long to stay?
Of course, there are a lot of things to do in this beautiful and unique part of Portugal. But you’ll find that the estate itself is a perfect refuge to just relax and do … nothing. Read more “Relax … Feel at home!”
Within 9 km of our estate you’ll find several towns, villages and hamlets, including the two castle villages of Marvao, Castelo de Vide and the wonderful old railway station in the village of Beira. Parque Natural da Serra de Sao Mamede is an ideal environment for a nice walk or bicycle ride through the astonishing landscape. A lot of our first time guests are in transit to or from the more obvious touristic destinations (Algarve and the busy coastal area) and book just for two nights (because that’s the minimum stay). But honestly, hat is just not enough …
