Our zoned estate offers all diversity from the Nature Park Serra de Sao Mamede. Cork oaks, Eucalyptus, Olives, a variety of wild flowers and of course the birds, butterflies and bees. All caught together (with our donkeys) in a breathtaking view of the rock valley.
We offer camping spots for adults (16+) on our estate. The minumum stay is 2 nights. Book on this website to ensure your spot and an easy checkin. No need to contact us, you will find all information on this site.
Our estate is no longer accessible or suitable for vehicles bigger than 7,5 meters. Trailers and cars have to be parked in the parking areas.

Come and relax in our amazingly beautiful, peaceful and friendly scenery. You are welcome to camp on our rural estate (olive grove) in the beautiful nature park Serra de Sao Mamede in the Alto Alentejo. Enjoy the view on the (nightly lit) castle of Marvao high up on the rocks. Find your space to really unwind from hectic daily life.
We offer 15 bookable camping spots for tents, caravans and campervans (smaller than 7,5 m.) in a kid-free landscape park environment with a refreshing salt water pool. Choose your own spot on arrival and sleep under the amazing starlit sky.
Included are the use of the pool, toilets and rain showers, facilities for washing up, a toilet dump and free high blazing speed WIFI at kiosk and terrace Amsterdao. Here you can meet your fellow travelers and enjoy our Brasilian-Dutch hospitality during our daily Meet and Greet. Treat yourself to a local talha wine, a cold lager or a locally brewed beer, while enjoying the fairytale scenery.
We speak English, Portugese, Dutch and German. Depending on your approach, we’ll try in Spanish and French.

What to do
Of course, there are a lot of things to do in this beautiful and unique part of Portugal. But you’ll find that the estate itself is a perfect refuge to just relax and do … nothing. Read more “Relax … Feel at home!”
Within 9 km of our estate you’ll find several towns, villages and hamlets, including the two castle villages of Marvao, Castelo de Vide and the wonderful old railway station in the village of Beira. Visit Portagem with it’s Roman bridge and free swimming pool in the river Sever.
Parque Natural da Serra de Sao Mamede is an ideal environment for a nice walk or bicycle ride through the astonishing landscape. Visit Anta’s and Menhirs, hamlets and towns, lakes and rivers, remote and almost desolate border villages. Stop at local venues for refreshments and meals. Read more “Hiking and Biking”
